Answers to some common questions

During your initial massage therapy session, the therapist will inquire about your preferences, areas of focus, and determine the suitability of the massage. They will assess your condition, address any concerns, and tailor the session accordingly. It’s essential to disclose any health issues, medications, and allergies to ensure a personalized and safe session with appropriate oils.
No earlier than 5 minutes before your treatment please, as there are no waiting facilities at the studio.
Come to your treatment wearing comfy clothes that are easy to get on and off, your therapist will only expose parts of the body that they are working on and the rest of the time you will remain covered.
Make yourself comfortable, try to relax and enjoy your treatment! Your therapist will adjust you accordingly if they need to change your position but if you need to move during the massage to make yourself comfortable then please do so.
Absolutely! Some popular music genres used by our massage therapists are new age, classical and soft jazz, but if don’t like the music that is on or if it is too quiet or loud then please ask to change it, we won’t be offended.
Feel free to openly communicate your preferences and comfort level with the massage therapist. If any adjustments are needed or if we’re close but not quite hitting the spot, don’t hesitate to speak up.
Remember, the belief that massage therapy has to be painful to work is a misconception. Many highly effective techniques involve gentle, light touches. Excessive pressure can sometimes cause muscles to tighten more and may reduce the effectiveness of your treatment.
If you are uncomfortable laying face down, or in any other position, let your massage therapist know. Bolsters, towels and cushions specially designed for ladies can be used to make you as comfortable as possible.
Depends on your goals, physical and emotional needs you know your body better than anyone, but always we recommend having one massage every 4-6 weeks As a rule of thumb it is better to maintain feeling good rather than trying to restore damage due to stress or over-use, getting into the practice of getting a massage.
No matter how much or how little you prefer to talk during your massage, it is completely up to you. Please don’t ever feel obligated to talk unless we’re asking you a question, and don’t be afraid to speak up either.
After a deep massage, individuals often experience profound relaxation, while others discover relief from persistent aches. Some may feel a bit sluggish initially but later enjoy increased energy, better alertness, and enhanced productivity that can last for days. Post-massage, you might feel tender the next day, akin to post-gym soreness. To ease this discomfort, try taking a hot shower or indulging in a bath. It’s recommended to drink a little more water than usual after the session to keep your body hydrated and healthy.
A massage will likely just make you feel worse. If you are sick, you may get your therapist sick and pass it on to other clients that day. Even if you are giving less than a 24-hour notice, we prefer you reschedule your appointment if you are feeling unwell, so let us know as soon as possible.
